Feb 16 Book Talk Recording

We are pleased to share a video recording from Sociology of Development’s February 16 book talk. Thank you to our moderator, Holly Reed (CUNY-Queens College), and our student coordinator, Ji-Won Lee (SUNY-Albany), for putting together this successful event.

During the talk, Jennifer Keahey and Douglas L. Murray provided brief introductions to their recently published or soon-to-be-published books, Decolonizing Development: Food, Heritage, and Trade in Post-Authoritarian Environments and We Can Change the World: Tales from a Generation’s Quest for Peace and Justice. Mushahid Hussain (Cornell) and Matthew Zinsli (Wisconsin-Madison) served as discussants for each book, respectively.

Below you will also find a transcription of the event. Please note that a portion of Jennifer Keahey’s talk was not recorded due to connection issues.
