Soc-Dev Book Talk: Friday, Feb 16th

Dear Sociology of Development Section Members,

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the Sociology of Development section will be hosting its virtual book talk, featuring two distinguished members.

Jennifer Keahey and Douglas L. Murray will provide brief introductions to their recently published or soon-to-be-published books, Decolonizing Development: Food, Heritage, and Trade in Post-Authoritarian Environments and We Can Change the World: Tales from a Generation’s Quest for Peace and Justice. During their presentations, the authors will elucidate how their work contributes to ongoing discussions within the field of Sociology of Development.

Mushahid Hussain (Cornell) and Matthew Zinsli (Wisconsin-Madison) will serve as discussants for each book, respectively.
