We’d like to invite you to apply to participate in the Chicago Ethnography Conference. This is a conference run by graduate students for graduate students, and it’s an excellent place to get feedback on ethnographic work at any stage from your peers from across the city, and indeed the country, as well as professors. This year’s theme is Life in Trump’s America, although we welcome papers on any topic. Kathleen Blee, Roberto Gonzales, and Ben Merriman will be joining us as keynote speakers, and it promises to be an exciting day.
The conference will be held on March 17, 2018. For right now, all we need is an abstract. The abstract deadline has been extended to January 29, 2018.
To submit papers, please send an extended abstract with a minimum of 500 words, along with paper keywords, to: chiethnography@gmail.com
