Global Urban Studies (1 Assistant Professor):  The ideal candidate will be a scholar specializing in the study of global urbanism. Possible areas of expertise include (but are by no means limited to) rural-urban migration; urban governance, infrastructure and planning; globalization and cities; urban security, violence, and conflict; urban health; and urban informality. Geographical focus is open: we are interested in scholarship on cities in the developing world, on cities in countries with higher levels of human development, or that incorporates various forms of comparison across regions and other categories.
