The 2012 American Sociological Association Development Sociology Conference will be November 1-3, 2012 at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville.

We are now accepting proposals for papers.

The program committee will do all the panel construction.

All you need to do to be considered for presentation is to submit a paper proposal.

1) Send a 500-600 word abstract of the paper you would like to deliver.

2) Accompany that abstract with a one page mini-vita.

3) Send the proposals to the following email address: devconference2012@gmail.com

4) The deadline for proposals is July 1, 2012, Noon Eastern Time.

5) We will be announcing the final program composition in late August.

The last DEVSOC conference at Cornell was amazing.

This one promises to be just as good.

So send your stuff and prepare to attend one of the best conferences a development sociologist could possibly attend!
